Fredericksburg Winery was named by U.S.A. Today as one of the top three wineries in Texas. The Fredericksburg Winery is located in a 10,600 square foot facility on Main Street in Fredericksburg. The actual wine production is done here. Please note a “winery” is where you make wine, a “vineyard” is where you grow grapes. Vineyards are farms whose crops happen to be grapes. The Fredericksburg Winery is owned and operated by the Switzer Family.

Although Woodrose is one of the smaller wineries, we are expanding very quickly. New winery/fermenting rooms are underway and we are planting a new vineyard! We offer a restaurant style environment to serve our wines. We come to you, while you relax and browse our ever-growing wine list. Open from noon to 6:00 PM Wednesday through Sunday.
